Remote Peering

What is Remote Peering?
Remote peering is a networking solution that allows internet service providers and enterprises with autonomous systems to exchange traffic with other providers at Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) without the need for a physical presence or expensive hardware. This is achieved by having a service provider extend the peering LAN of the exchange to your local location, combining the peering port with a transport service. This way, you can directly connect with other networks and exchange traffic efficiently and cost-effectively.
Why Choose E-CAPS Remote Peering?
E-CAPS operates its own extensive European data network and has a presence at all major European IXPs. This enables us to offer you a direct connection to the Vienna Internet Exchange (VIX) from over a hundred data centers and Points of Presence (PoPs) across EU countries. By choosing E-CAPS Remote Peering, you benefit from the same high-quality, availability, and low latency that we use for our own services, all through a single port. This not only simplifies your network infrastructure but also ensures a seamless and high-performance connectivity experience.
